“Naturalist, I am co-owner with Isa of Flame of the Forest, a safari Lodge in Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve in India.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

I am invested in the METTA VILLA project because I think it is important to offer a place to accompany the transformation and healing of the world through a holistic and caring approach.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

I think that's what humanity needs: to get out of our complicated lifestyles and get back to basics, simplicity and sobriety.

I feel aligned by offering my energy and my work in the service of this project consistent with my vision of the world and my spiritual practice. "

“Nurse, naturopath, yoga teacher and therapist, I and my husband Karan own“ Flame of the Forest ”, a Safari Lodge in India in the heart of a national park.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

METTA VILLA is for me a project at the service of the common good, through a model of sustainable development and based on a conception of a mindful way of life.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

I am invested in the project because I am convinced that this place, rich in its silence, in its beauty, is conducive to establishing a supportive community of practice to help people in different aspects of their lives.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

Step by step. Moment after moment. In conscience. "

“After 20 years of a career in international finance, I chose to devote myself completely to the practice of Yoga. I became somewhat of a “nomadic yogini” always on pilgrimage, spending all winter months mainly in India.

I had the chance to deepen my practice with Manuela (co-founder of METTA VILLA), Usha Devi (Iyengar Yoga) and Swami Atmananda (Vedanta).

For me, the METTA VILLA is of course a favorable and calm place but also a community of practice that offers the possibility of settling in long retreats, deep spiritual practices in silence and being surrounded by practitioners sharing the same vision. "

“Financial executive in an international industrial company, land investor, I was seduced by the METTA VILLA project and the team that corresponded to my values: placing the economy at the service of people, transmitting knowledge and ensuring development sustainable economy, respecting nature and its resources.

I got involved in this project because the METTA VILLA is a responsible eco-place in human, ecological and economic terms. It is a place to regenerate, to find oneself, to come together.

By promoting the dissemination of knowledge, knowledge and approaches placing the well-being of the individual as a prerequisite for his interaction with the world, I am convinced that we are laying the foundations for a deeper transformation of humanity. ”

“As a young adult, I studied and worked for a few years in a psychiatric environment before Ayurvedic psychology and Buddhist psychotherapy crossed my path. Since then I have not stopped exploring how the mind and its conditioning affects our well-being and our inner freedom.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

Yoga and its different practices came into my life when I was 20 years old. I've been teaching it ever since. Using the body as a vessel, immersing yourself in attention in the present moment, understanding the impact of breathing and the way it acts to reconnect our body and our mind to the source of our life: these, in my opinion, are the most beautiful treasures of our precious human life.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

Having a refuge of peace, surrounded by nature like the METTA VILLA is to withdraw and listen to its interior, for me it is a dream come true and I am inspired and full of gratitude to share it with as many people as possible. "

“After a career in social work, as an educator and then as an executive, I was a craftsman carpenter before becoming an MBSR (stress reduction through mindfulness) instructor.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

Practicing meditation for twenty years and yoga for a short time, I feel intimately how these practices are profoundly transformative. For several years now, I have wanted to open a place allowing the transmission of these approaches and other ways of wisdom.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

When I visited this exceptional place for the first time, I was very moved by its beauty and the gentle energy that emanated from it. The METTA VILLA project was taking shape: we were going to be able to offer here a place of retreat conducive to inner transformation, silence, contemplation and reflection to lay the foundations for a more just and peaceful world. “I worked as a systems engineer in different French companies for 10 years. The practice of Mindfulness and more specifically the MBSR program led me to resume studying psychology. I am now a clinical psychologist, specializing in behavioral and cognitive sciences. I am also an MBSR instructor.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

For me, the METTA VILLA project represents the opportunity to offer an inspiring place where people can learn to awaken to their own life to better navigate the ups and downs of existence, but also to cultivate a better balance. between their inner world and the outer world, including the planet itself.

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

It is also an opportunity for me to contribute to this transition that the world needs: in terms of internal and external stability, awakening and resilience. "
