Compassion , which should not be confused with empathy alone, is this ability to recognize our suffering and that of others at the same time as the will to alleviate them, to relieve them.

We will see how compassion, supported by a mindfulness practice can help us as an individual, as a parent, in a professional register or more generally when we are in interactions or difficult communication situations.

Because compassion is an instrument of peace : it soothes internal conflicts and, by allowing us to recognize the suffering of the other, mirror of ours, it brings us on the path of awareness of a shared humanity.

We will therefore explore in the first place self-compassion , which far from being self-pity, gives us the necessary strength and constitutes the essential preliminary stage to develop our compassion towards others and the world.

The educational content is freely inspired by the MBCL (Mindfulness Based Compassion Living) program.

In this retreat, intended for people who have already developed a personal mindfulness practice, we will alternate didactic contributions and guided meditations with workshops in small groups and in dyads.

There will be times of silence during the retreat and cell phone use will be restricted.
